The Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency has started HoCare2.0 project funded by INTERREG Central Europe Program<\/a> on the 1st of April in 2019. The aim of the project is to create a supporting environment that boosts innovation for the eldery in home care, therefore it will increase regional capacities in the Central European Region.<\/p>

The HoCare2.0 project bases its activities on the EC sources that there will be one in three Europeans over 65 by 2060, and the average age of citizens is already above 45 in many countries. This creates serious challenges for the healthcare system and increases the need for new innovative solutions that can react effectively to this new demand. Besides, this increasing need means an economic opportunity for the market.<\/p>

HoCare2.0 project intends to intervent in these processes by the creation of a cooperative system which includes the national service providers, economic actors, the academia and the end-users. The four stakeholder groups will work together to create the needed new innovative solutions. The project\u2019s approach is called the Quadruple Helix methods, which is rarely used for the creation of health related innovations in Central European countries.<\/p>

Projects partners are from Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland and Germany, including innovation and development agencies, national agencies and service providers from different territorial levels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
