eDigiStars was launched on 1 July 2020 under the Danube Transnational Cooperation Programme<\/a> , led by the Innoskart Cluster in Hungary. The project aims to develop the digital skills of the over-50 age group in order to help them reintegrate into the labour market and to respond to the market demand for digital\/IT skills in the countries of the Danube region.<\/p>

The eDigiStars project is based on the fact that in most countries along the Danube there is a significant demand for digital skills from employers, and that even simple jobs such as IT system operator, 3D printer specialist, digital campaign manager or digital graphic designer are difficult to fill. And vacancies are making the region less competitive compared to other European regions. In addition, finding a job is a problem for the working age population over 50. Our project aims to demonstrate that these two challenges can be linked and addressed simultaneously.<\/p>

The eDigiStars project partnership believes that we can retrain people in the working age group over 50 to become digital workers or entrepreneurs. The partnership will therefore first of all convince people in this age group that the digital world offers them opportunities for advancement or development. We will then make recommendations on how to adapt adult learning to the needs of this age group. And those over 51 who are involved in our pilot and successfully complete it will be awarded a certificate which, in addition to the skills they acquire, can help them to find a job.<\/p>

The project partners are innovation and development, employment and labour market agencies from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Ukraine, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Bulgaria, from different territorial levels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
