Rur@l SME's

Rur@al SME's is looking for solutions to issues raised in rural businesses. The aim of the project is to support innovative businesses in rural areas through policies that encourage the operation and growth of businesses.

Based on the exchange of experience and good practices between partner countries, and the mapping of local experiences, a regional action plan will be prepared which will provide a concrete set of objectives and tools for rural businesses in our region and for the development policy supporting them.

We are all aware of the problems of businesses, which may be even more pronounced in rural areas: lack of information, lack of resources, communication difficulties, and occasional co-operation. Our goal with the project is to reach the relevant actors in our region, to explore the problems and to develop an effective development policy toolbox. Our target group is double, on the one hand young rural entrepreneurs and innovative rural businesses, on the other hand innovative rural enterprises.
